At PureHeartBernedoodles, we believe in transparency, fairness, and ethical practices in every part of our adoption process. Our goal is to create a trusting relationship with every family and to ensure that both the breeder and the buyer are protected through clear policies and honest communication. This Refund Policy explains how deposits, payments, and refunds are handled.

 

Deposits

All deposits made with PureHeartBernedoodles are refundable. Refunds may be full or partial depending on the circumstances of the cancellation, timing, and services already provided. Deposits are collected to reserve a puppy and cover early care, veterinary services, administrative processing, and holding costs.

If a buyer cancels early in the process and no significant costs have been incurred, the deposit may be fully refunded. If the cancellation occurs after veterinary care, documentation processing, holding periods, or scheduling of services, a partial refund may apply. The exact refund amount will be determined based on the stage of the adoption process and expenses already incurred.

 

Purchase Price Refunds

Refunds of the puppy’s purchase price may be full or partial depending on the reason for the refund and the stage of the adoption process. Refunds may be considered in situations including, but not limited to, verified health concerns, breeder-initiated cancellations, or qualifying conditions under the Health Guarantee.

Any approved refund is limited to the original purchase amount paid for the puppy and does not include additional services, transportation, special requests, training services, or third-party fees unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

Health-Based Refunds

If a licensed veterinarian determines that a puppy has a serious congenital condition that significantly affects quality of life, refunds or replacements may be offered in accordance with the Health Guarantee and Adoption Agreement. In such cases, refunds may be full or partial depending on circumstances, timing, and compliance with all required procedures and documentation.

 

Shipping and Transportation

Shipping and transportation fees may be refundable in full or in part depending on whether services have already been scheduled, reserved, or completed with third-party carriers. If transport has not yet been booked, these fees may be fully refundable. If transport services have already been arranged, refunds will depend on the carrier’s cancellation policies and any costs already incurred.

 

Buyer Cancellations

If a buyer chooses to cancel an adoption, refunds will be processed based on timing and services already provided. Early cancellations may qualify for full refunds. Later cancellations may qualify for partial refunds after deducting incurred costs such as veterinary services, care expenses, documentation, holding fees, and administrative processing.

Each cancellation is reviewed individually to ensure fairness and transparency.

 

Breeder Cancellations

If Pure Heart Bernedoodles must cancel an adoption for any reason, the buyer will receive a full refund of all payments made, including the deposit, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

Returns

If a buyer is unable to keep their puppy at any time, the puppy must be returned to Pure Heart Bernedoodles. Refund eligibility will depend on the reason for return, the condition of the puppy, and compliance with the Adoption Agreement and Health Guarantee. Returns do not automatically guarantee a refund but may qualify for full or partial reimbursement based on the situation.

 

Processing of Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method whenever possible. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider, banking institution, and transaction type.

 

Non-Disparagement and Refund Conditions

In cases where refunds are issued following disputes, health claims, or contract-based claims, refund processing may require the completion of appropriate documentation, including dispute resolution agreements or non-disparagement terms where applicable.

 

Policy Updates

Pure Heart Bernedoodles reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on the website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
